Human Centipede is the closest one to fun- it starts out making you think it's going to be total garbage, but it becomes apparent about twenty minutes into the movie with a massive tonal shift that those opening scenes with bad acting and B movie/porn parody cliche are intentional. It might not be for the faint of heart, but I'd say it's a far better film than most of the Saw films- and has nothing in it worse than in those movies(Sure, Saw might not face **** a newborn, but the sheer level of torture on screen is definitely more graphic).
The second the guy shows up "on set" and that camera guy starts following him around, I was uneasy. Serbian film is slick, well made, full of great acting and has this awesome creepy vibe that's hard to get across in most films. It might be odd to say that I enjoyed A Serbian Film Anti-Christ, and Human Centipede, but all three of the films are extremely well made and pretty much just damn good movies.Īnti-Christ is probably the best, with two fantastic performances, some very thought provoking and captivating stuff, as well as several extremely scary and several extremely gory moments. There's no really a reason to watch the cut version of this (or any other movie for that matter), because if the sole purpose of the film was to shock you, why watch a version without the shock? Still, I would say it's best viewed uncut in a cinema. I was like please, anything but not that! And boom, I hated being right.Īnd if you're going to watch this, watch the uncut version.
